Before operation and use tips
- Unpack the citrus juicer and remove all packaging materials. Keep the packaging away from children, as it may cause suffocation.
- Check the appliance for any visible damage and ensure that all parts are present and in good condition.
- Before using the juicer for the first time, wipe the motor base with a damp cloth. Rinse the cones, filter sieve, and juice collector with warm water and mild detergent, then air dry completely before use.
- Place the appliance on a flat, stable surface that is easy to operate and clean.
- Select the appropriate cone size for the citrus fruit and attach it to the driving shaft.
- Use the large cone for big citrus fruits such as grapefruits and oranges. Use the small cone for smaller fruits such as lemons and limes. The small cone fits directly onto the drive shaft, while the large cone must be placed over the small cone. To separate the cones, pull the large cone upwards.
- To collect juice in the juice collector, press the spout upwards to close it. To let the juice flow directly into a cup, press the spout down to open it.
- Do not apply excessive pressure to the juicing cone, as this may cause the motor to stop.
- The citrus juicer switches on automatically when you press the fruit down with the press lever, causing the cone to rotate. It switches off as soon as you release pressure. The cone scrapes the pulp and squeezes juice from the fruit.
- The juice flows through the filter sieve into the juice collector, from where it can be poured into a cup (the spout must be open). The filter sieve retains thick pulp and seeds.
- To maximize juice extraction, press the fruit onto the cone several times.
Juicing advice
- Citrus juices should be consumed immediately and never stored in a metal container.
- Citrus juices are excellent for mixing. For example, mix orange juice with lemon juice for an extra boost of vitamin C.
Cleaning and care
- Always unplug the citrus juicer before cleaning.
- Never immerse the motor base in water or rinse it under the tap.
- The juicing cones and juice container are dishwasher-safe.
- Wipe the motor base with a damp cloth and keep it away from water.
- If you frequently use the spout to juice into the container, pulp may build up inside. Clean the spout after each use.
Correct storage and disposal
- Before storage, ensure the appliance is unplugged and completely stopped.
- Air-dry and wipe all detachable parts.
- Reassemble the clean parts and accessories following the steps in the “How to Assemble and Use” section.
- Store the cleaned appliance in a dry, flat place.
- To prevent harm to the environment or human health from uncontrolled disposal, recycle responsibly to promote sustainable reuse of resources.
- Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste. Use designated collection facilities.
