Safety precaution

Please read these instructions carefully and keep them for future reference.

  1. When the product is connected to the power supply, please make sure the circuit voltage is consistent with the rated voltage of the product, and confirm that the circuit is well grounded.
  2. Always unplug the iron when leaving it unattended, even for a short time, and place it in an upright position. Keep the appliance out of the reach of children.
  3. The iron becomes very hot during use; avoid contact with hot surfaces and keep it away from flammable materials.
  4. Caution: Always unplug the appliance before filling the water tank.
  5. Never immerse the iron in water or any other liquid.
  6. If the power cord is damaged, the appliance must be repaired only by an authorized service center.
  7. Mineral deposits in water may cause scale build-up and block the steam vents; therefore, distilled water is recommended.
  8. Do not use chemically descaled water or any type of treated water in the water tank.
  9. The steam emitted is extremely hot and hazardous; never direct the steam toward people or animals.
  10. Use the iron only on stable, flat and heat-resistant surfaces.
  11. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the supporting surface is firm and stable.
  12. Do not pull or carry the iron by the cord; do not trap the cord in doors or drag it across sharp edges. Keep the cord away from hot surfaces.
  13. If the iron has been dropped, shows any visible damage, or is leaking, discontinue use immediately and have it inspected by an authorized service center.
  14. This appliance is intended to be used by persons with adequate ability, experience, and common sense. Individuals who cannot safely operate the appliance must be supervised by a responsible person. Children must be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
  15. The iron must not be left unattended while it is connected to the mains supply.
  16. The iron must be used and rested on a stable surface.
  17. When placing the iron on its stand, ensure that the surface beneath the stand is stable.
  18. The plug must be removed from the socket-outlet before filling the water reservoir (for steam irons or irons with spray function).

Water Tank

Before first use

  1. The iron contains protective grease, so it may emit slight smoke when switched on for the first time. This is normal and will stop after a short while.
  2. Before using the iron for the first time, remove any stickers or protective foil from the soleplate and clean the soleplate with a
  3. soft cloth. Keep the soleplate smooth: avoid hard contact with metal objects or rough surfaces.

Filling with water

Make sure the iron is unplugged and the thermostat dial is set to MIN. Place the iron on the heel rest, tilt it forward approximately 45 degrees, and pour water into the filling opening until it reaches the MAX level of the water tank.

Vertical steam

The “Burst of Steam” function can also be used in a vertical position, which is helpful for removing creases from hanging clothes, curtains, etc.

Dry ironing

  1. Set the steam selector to position O (No Steam).
  2. Set the correct temperature according to the care label of the garment.

Spraying methods

At any temperature, pressing the spray button a few times will dampen the fabric. Ensure that there is enough water in the water tank.

Steam ironing

  1. Fill the iron with water as instructed in the filling method.
  2. Plug the appliance into the socket.
  3. Steam ironing is available only when the thermostat dial is set to MAX; otherwise, water may leak from the soleplate.
  4. The iron is ready for use when the indicator light turns off.
  5. Adjust the steam selector: push it backward to increase the steam output and forward to decrease it. Caution Do not use steam on synthetic fabrics, nylon, synthetic silk or silk; steam may damage the surface finish of these materials.

Burst of steam

This function is effective for tough wrinkles and heavy fabrics. By pressing the “Burst of Steam” button, an intense burst of steam is emitted from the soleplate, which helps remove stubborn creases. The steam shot function can only be used at high ironing temperatures. For optimal results, allow a 5-second pause between presses. To prevent water leakage from the soleplate, do not press the steam button continuously for more than 5 seconds. Also allow at least one minute before applying the burst of steam function again.

Anti-drip

  1. The anti-drip system automatically prevents water from leaking through the soleplate when the iron is too cold.
  2. During use, the anti-drip system may emit a loud clicking sound, especially during heat-up or cool-down. This is completely normal and indicates that the system is functioning correctly.

Built-in anti-scale system

The built-in anti-scale cartridge is designed to reduce the build-up of limescale that naturally occurs during steam ironing. This helps prolong the working life of your iron. However, please note that the anti-scale cartridge will not completely stop the natural process of limescale formation.

Self - cleaning

Use the self-cleaning function once every two weeks. If the water in your area is very hard (e.g., when flakes appear from the soleplate during ironing), use this function more frequently.

  1. Make sure the appliance is unplugged and the steam selector is set to “O”. Fill the water tank to the MAX level; do not add vinegar or any descaling agents.
  2. Set the thermostat to the maximum temperature and plug the iron into the power socket.
  3. When the indicator light goes off, unplug the iron.
  4. Hold the iron over a sink, press and hold the self-cleaning button, and gently shake the iron back and forth.
  5. Steam and boiling water will be released from the soleplate, flushing out impurities or flakes.
  6. Release the button when all the water has been used up.
  7. Repeat the process if necessary.
  8. After cleaning, plug in the iron again to allow the soleplate to dry. Once it reaches ironing temperature, gently run the hot
  9. soleplate over an old cloth to remove any water stains.
  10. Let the iron cool completely before storing it.

Care and maintenance

Before cleaning, unplug the iron from the socket and allow it to cool down completely.

  1. Wipe the soleplate with a damp cloth and a non-abrasive liquid cleaner.
  2. If fabric fibers have adhered to the soleplate, use a damp cloth with vinegar to remove them.
  3. Never use strong acidic or alkaline cleaners, as they may damage the soleplate.
  4. If limescale blocks the steam holes, gently remove it using a toothpick; take care not to scratch the soleplate.
  5. Stand the iron upright and allow it to cool down fully. Empty any remaining water from the tank and set the steam selector to position “O”.

Troubleshooting

ISSUES

CAUSE

SOLUTION

Not enough heat or overheating

• Thermostat dial rotated incorrectly or the iron is unplugged.

• Set the thermostat dial correctly and ensure the iron is plugged in.

No steam or leakage

• The thermostat dial has been set to MIN.

• Adjust the thermostat dial to the required steam range.

No burst of steam or no vertical steam

• Burst of steam function used too frequently in a short time; iron not hot enough.

• Continue ironing horizontally and wait before using burst/vertical steam again.

Leaking water from soleplate

• Thermostat dial set outside steam range. • Iron not hot enough. • Water level is above MAX

• Set the thermostat dial to the steam range. • Press the steam button only after the indicator light goes off. • Pour out excess water

Little steam

• Steam selector not in proper position. • Steam holes blocked. • Too little water in tank

• Set the steam selector to the correct position. • Clean steam holes with distilled water. • Fill the water tank.

No spraying

• Not enough pressure or air trapped inside.

• Press the spray nozzle manually and press the spray button several times continuously.
