An egg cooker produces repeatable results when egg count, water quantity, and the way you select doneness are coordinated. Estimating water by eye or using timings from another appliance is not a precise approach. The Swiss Plus SEB-106S has a six-egg capacity and three cooking levels. This guide explains preparation and care.
What should you prepare before each batch?
Place the appliance on a flat, suitable surface. Before connecting the power, check that the heating plate is clean and the holder is positioned correctly. Arrange eggs as permitted and fit the lid according to the manual. Keep the steam outlet clear.
This model is listed with a water measuring cup and piercing pin. Determine the water quantity using the markings and chart in its manual. Another model's instructions or an ordinary drinking glass are not substitutes. Also consult the appliance's instructions before using the pin.

Soft, medium, or hard: how much water should you use?
The product description lists three levels of doneness. Before starting, choose the desired level and number of eggs, then add the corresponding amount of water. To adjust the next batch, record egg count, size, and starting conditions so you do not change several variables at once.
Stage | What you can control | Reference to follow |
|---|---|---|
Before starting | Egg count and arrangement | Permitted appliance capacity |
Adding water | Doneness and egg count | Measuring-cup markings and manual |
End of cycle | Alert and hot steam | Instructions for lifting the lid |
After use | Cleaning and drying | Parts approved for washing |
Ending the cycle and removing the lid
The SEB-106S is listed with an indicator light, automatic shut-off, and an audible alert. Follow the manual at the end of the cycle, keeping your face and hands away from steam when lifting the lid. The semi-transparent lid and handled holder help with observation and handling, but hot parts still require care.
Also consider the preparation and consumption requirements for eggs when assessing whether the food is suitable. A named cooking level alone does not replace checking the consumer's needs and the recipe. Handle leftovers according to the storage requirements for that food.
Cleaning the heating plate and components
After unplugging and cooling, clean removable parts using an approved method. Do not scratch the stainless steel heating plate, and consult the manual for descaling. Do not immerse electrical parts in water. Check that components are dry before storage.
Check specifications, images, and included items on the SEB-106S egg cooker page. For an organised breakfast routine, allow time for ingredient preparation and cleaning after use.
Check specifications and included accessories on the model's page. For operation and limitations, read the manual for that product.
